Falling dreams are the most frequent among all the common dreams we experience in our lifetime. Researchers say the average human will dream about falling to their death more than 5 times in their life.

One theory suggests that you may have lost control over a particular situation in your life. Though to identify you might have to do some thinking to what it might be linking too. This can be linked to relationships, workplace, school or home life. Falling can imply both internal or external issues that have been neglected. Depending on the context of the dream it can point to different areas that need to be analysed. Writing down as much detail of your dream can help decode it a lot easier by thinking in metaphors.

Losing your teeth

As bizarre as this dream may feel it seems to be fairly common. Falling teeth could be an inner reflection of how we are feeling about ourselves at the moment. Teeth falling out suggests a lack of support internally and you might be having trouble holding things together that was once strong in you.

These dreams could relate to all anxieties and fears you have at your workplace or relationship as well. The location and the people around you will give you an indication of what to look out for.

If you are looking in the mirror then it has a different meaning. Doing some self-reflection on your confidence can better help you understand your dream. The dream is metaphoric to how you are feeling. Are you falling apart inside?

Being cheated on in a dream can often feel so real that you actually go and accuse your spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend or significant other of it. Such dreams are unsettling and disturbing. Feelings of neglect, insecurity and mistrust are things that should be confronted and discussed in any personal relationship in order for the partnership to grow. It is time to let your guard down and open a dialogue with your significant other.

Being Chased

Psychologists tend to think that chase dreams occur when our emotions become repressed. Emotions such as love, hate, envy or anxiety that have been hidden in our metaphorical closet that will eventually appear but in our dreams. Once ignored these thoughts and images manifest via unconscious in our dreams as we are being chased by an attacker or monster.

Remembering the events in your dream will help you understand if you are facing your fears directly, or if your running away from them. These dreams should not be ignored but rather dealt with in orderly fashion in order to get to the root of the problem.

Being Naked in Public

A dream of being naked in public usually starts with a sense of shock as you find yourself completely or partially enclosed in a public place. Although you are making frantic attempts to shield your body and hide behind whatever cover you can find, you still feel that you are in full view of all the people around you. Everyone else is fully dressed and, even though you are extremely embarrassed, no one else seems to notice your nudity.

The action from this dream is to be more confident in revealing the real you to the people around you. It may seem easier to hide your abilities away so that they won’t be constantly exposed to the judgements and criticisms of other people. By choosing to keep your talents under wraps, however, you constantly have to show up as other people expect you to appear, rather than showing up in a way that really displays your uniqueness.

Tests or Exams

Taking an exam in your dream implies that you are being put to the test or being scrutinised in some area of your waking life. As with most common dreams, dreams about taking a test have to do with anxiety.

In such dreams, you may find that you cannot answer any of the questions on the test, that the test is in some foreign language or that your pencil keeps breaking during the test. Perhaps the time is running out and you cannot complete the exam in the allowed time. Or perhaps, you arrive late and miss the exam altogether. These factors all result in you failing the dream test.

When you dream of death, dying or dead people, notice how you feel in your dream. While many people fear that their dreams predict a literal death, another approach would suggest that you’re dreaming about an aspect of yourself.

To dream about the death of a loved one suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what you like about them. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances.

To dream of your own death indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life.

Your dream of death should usually not be taken literally. Look at the dream death as symbolic of something in your waking life that is changing or ending.
